CED research collab presented in APCoRE 2020

Researchers from the College of Education presented papers in the Asia-Pacific Consortium of Researchers and Educators (APCoRE) 2020  International Virtual Conference held on December 2-4, 2020 with the theme “Embracing Change, Forging Ahead”.

Dr. Jake Raymund F. Fabregar presented his paper entitled “Organizational Climate in Public High Schools in the Province of Laguna and Lifelong Service of Junior High School Teachers”  while Dr. Jovan B. Alitagtag  shared his research on “Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Effectiveness of Public Junior High School Heads in the Province of Laguna”.

Prior to this, Dr. Fabregar and Dr. Alitagtag, together with Dr. Rhodora S. Crizaldo, presented their research entitled  “Social Cohesion in times of Pandemic: A View from the Frontliners of the Local Government Units in CALABARZON” in the 2020 PSPA International Conference on October 23-24, 2020. It was also accepted for publication in the Development Academy of the Philippines Working Paper Series No.1 and the SEAMEO Journal 2020 Special Issue, Volume 2, February 2021  with the theme: Maximizing Learning: Education Responses during COVID-19 Crisis and Beyond.

This is in addition to their recently finished research entitled “Preparedness of SUCs In CALABARZON in the Implementation of Flexible Learning in the New Normal” which was funded by the CvSU Research Grant.

Their teamwork serves as an example of relevant researches the University has been supporting to address the needs of the community even amidst the pandemic. (JAlitagtag/JFabregar/RCrizaldo)
