CEMDS faculty, students join NEDA forum

A total of 14 faculty members and nine students from the College of Economics, Management and Development Studies (CEMDS) attended the CALABARZON Economic and Financial Literacy Forum via Zoom.

The said activity was organized by the National Economic Development Authority last November 27, 2020 with the theme, “E-konomiya: Maingat na Pag-angat” (Digital Economy for Faster and Safer Recovery).

Topics discussed are the following: ReCharge PH by Dr. Thelma C. Manuel; Accelerating Philippine Digital Transformation by Edriel Miranda; and Benefits of Online Banking and Digital Payments, Protection from Online Fraud by Marie Khristine Pajarillo.

In a quiz held during the forum, Mr. Ralph de Laza (BS Accountancy) got the first prize for student category while Ms.Jenalyn Salonga got the 2nd prize for the faculty category.

Faculty participants from CvSU include Thea Maries Perez, Reinalene Joy Casiano, Laarni Basa, Elaijah Herrero, Jenalyn Salonga, Jade Anne Estacio, Aberto Aguilar, Maria Isolde Sustrina, Djehan Astilla, Dolores Aguilar, Tita Lopez, Sharon Matilla, Betsy Rose Fidel, and Mailah Ulep. Meanwhile, student participants include Sheena Guillermo, Mechille Cui, Mark Aloysius Sanchez, Shella Lagdaan, Ralph de Laza, Jon Nickson Edralin, Marlon Loba, Ross Tan and Lovern Comaling.
