MOVE Attends Training on Gender Analysis and Case Management
CvSU Gender and Development Resource Center (GADRC) sponsored a training-workshop on Gender Analysis and Referral and Case Management among MOVE officers and members on May 28-29, 2019 at Monte Vista Hotsprings and Conference Resort, Calamba City, Laguna.
Ms. Lovely S. Mores, Senior Economic Development Specialist, NEDA Region IV-A and a Certified PCW GAD Resource Pool, discussed the Basic GAD Orientation and Gender Analysis Tools such as the Harmonized GAD Guidelines. Workshop on the evaluation of project proposal and accomplishment report was also done on the first day.
Dr. Marietta C. Mojica, GAD Chair for Research, discussed the Parts of Program/Project Proposal and the Accomplishment Report.
On the second day, Ms. Precyl T. Ramos, Social Welfare Officer III, Cavite Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office tackled Referral and Case Management. A role playing activity on how to handle cases was also done during the session.
In addition, the participants were oriented on the use of Gender Fair Language, Anti-Rape Law of 1997 and Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, and Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004 by Ms. Raecel A. Estebat, Mr. John Renz D. Emelo and Ms. Shirlyn M. Rom, GADRC staff. In addition, Dr. Susan G. Tan, GAD Chair for Extension, also discussed the Anti Sexual Harassment Act of 1995.
